A national quality registry features individualised data about patient problems, medical interventions and outcomes after treatment within healthcare production. It is annually monitored and approved for financial support by an Executive Committee.
Vision
The vision for the quality registries is to work like an over-all knowledge system that is actively used for continuous learning, quality improvement and management of healthcare.
More information about the National quality registries is available in English in the Catalogue about Swedish quality registres from the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions published in 2007. See the Catalogue.
